Review: The Case for Christ: A Journalist’s Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus

The Case for Christ: A Journalist's Personal Investigation of the Evidence for JesusThe Case for Christ: A Journalist’s Personal Investigation of the Evidence for Jesus by Lee Strobel
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Decent presentation of the evidence for Christ being who He said He was, showing Christianity’s historical and logical and prophetic foundations. However, it presented itself as an objective journalistic account, which it most definitely was not (Strobel was already a Christian when he wrote it, for starters). The interviews felt set up and canned, with the questions and the answers laid out perfectly to make the point the author was going for. I don’t think this would be very convincing for skeptics, or even for those searching, but it’s hard for me to say, as I speak from the perspective of a lifelong believer.
